A Head Chef is needed to manage the kitchen at a high volume venue located in Shropshire
The position of Head Chef is available at a high volume operation where you will be required to provide simple, fresh meals for a maximum of 500 covers during busy periods.As Head Chef you will be expected to manage the shifts in the kitchen, working 6 days in the summer building up extra time to take off during quieter times.This position needs a candidate who is capable of managing a large team of staff, motivating them to work to the best of their ability whilst also managing the department including dealing with suppliers, ordering , writing menus, ensuring you achieve a top hygiene award and planning for future events.
This position would suit a Head Chef who is able to develop a team to perform to a good standard when cooking with fresh food.It is essential that all candidates are computer literate with strong admin skills but also have good cooking skills gained from a quality environment where you became used to managing a high volume kitchen environment.
