General Manager - Edinburgh

The Place:
Our client part of a prestigious Bar and Restaurant group has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to manage a busy iconic bar in the heart of Edinburgh. This role has arisen due to the continued success of the group which has recently gone through recent expansion. The property is an extremely popular destination for locals and tourists alike and is situated in a prime location close to a major attractions.

The Job:
Taking responsibility and overseeing the full food & beverage operation within the unit. You`ll train, develop and motivate your team; improving and maintaining standards to ensure the guest`s needs are met and exceeded. Working closely with your team you will ideally be from an F&B hands on background and not be adverse to a fast paced high turnover environment.

The Person:
Previous experience managing and developing licensed business in a high volume and quality venue is essential. You will be experienced in either hotels, catering or restaurants business, be proactive in generating and driving sales, inspirational to your team. You will also ensure compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety legislation.

The Rewards:
A competitive salary of up to £32,000 plus bonus and company benefits are on offer to the successful candidate.
