Our client is looking for a strong Sous Chef for their busy gastro operation that has just had a £250,000 refurb and recently re-opened. This stunning large gastro pub on the outskirts of Guildford is extremely popular with locals & takes £20k a week on food. Weekend days they can cater for up to 300 covers a day.
This is an independently owned operation serving modern British cuisine. They also have a large, beautiful beer garden ideal for BBQ's in the hot summer months & Carvery on a Sunday.
As Sous chef you must have at least 2 years previous experience within a busy restaurant/gastro pub serving quality food. You will be part of a team of 6 chefs in this busy operation & work closely with the Head chef taking full responsibility in his absence
