My client, a boutique Hotel based in Yorkshire is looking for a Commis Chef to add to its current brigade of Chefs, working on the Pastry section. This would suit a Commis Chef with pastry experience or an interest.
The Hotel is part of a group, with operations in Europe, Caribbean, USA and China and offers excellent career development opportunities for ambitious Chef's looking to develop their skills and experiences under a Head Chef with Michelin Star experience and excellent man management skills.
The menu displays a Modern British theme using the finest locally sourced produce Yorkshire has to offer, where creative flair is encouraged.
The food quality is of Rosette standard.
The Team Dynamic
For the successful Commis Chef, it's important that you are motivated and ambitious, with career development being of up most importance as opportunities internationally are possible for aspiring Chef's.
The Kitchen brigade comprises of 7 Chef's, producing on average 30 covers for lunch and dinner in the a la carte Restaurant, 50 covers for Afternoon tea, with an additional 30 covers for the bar and a maximum of 140 for banqueting/Events twice a week.
The brigade age range are all mid - late 20's, providing a young vibrant atmosphere in the kitchen.
The Hotel group benefits from a corporate functionality although with complete freedom of the menu design ensuring proven structures are in place to maximise profitability.
My client is looking to pay a salary of up to £14,000 with pay reviews in 6 months of service
