Search Consultancy are working for one of Leeds most popular hotels. They are currently looking to recruit a Head Housekeeper for their 80 plus bedroom site.. If you are an experienced Housekeeping Manager or Assistant who is looking for a new challenge then please read on.

The Company
Our client is a small group of medium sized hotels in the UK. This particular property has large public area spaces and Conference and Banqueting facilities as well.

The Role
As Head housekeeper you will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 6 staff members and cleaning all public areas and bedrooms within the hotel:-
Your key responsibilities will include:-
Training and monitoring your team
Monitoring the cleanliness and appearance of all areas of the hotel
Stock Control
Monitoring wages
Health and Safety
Fire policies and procedures
Room Checks
Providing strong leadership for the housekeeping team
Ensuring all guest request are dealt with promptly and efficiently
Ensuring minimum wastage
Dealing with all linen orders for the hotel
Dealing with lost property

Experience

To be successful, candidates must have previously been a Head Housekeeper within hotels of 70 plus bedrooms. You will also have experience in either a 3 star plus or 4 star hotel. Assistant Head Housekeepers will be considered if you have worked in a larger property and are perhaps looking for your first HOD role.
