We are currently seeking a restaurant and bars manager for a magnificent 120 bedroom hotel in the outskirts of Aberdeen.
This property is regarded as one of the best hotels in Scotland and has a thriving trade all year round.
In addition the property is part of a well known global brand which offers plenty of opportunities for training and career development.
The restaurant is currently serving circa 120 covers for breakfast Monday to Thursday and up to 180 on weekends.
The hotel also has a thriving lunch trade and can do up to 100 covers for lunch within their very popular carvery restaurant.
For dinner service within the A La Carte Restaurant the hotel is currently serving circa 50 covers.
In addition to a very busy restaurant the hotel also has 3 bars which the restaurant and bar manager will also be responsible for.
Within the bars a brasserie style menu is offered and the hotel is also very popular for afternoon teas.
The restaurant and bars manager will be responsible for a team of 20 staff which includes 3 supervisors.
Ideal candidates will have sound restaurant management experience ideally within 4 or 5 star environments.
Ideal candidates will also have sound bar management experience and will be accustomed to dealing with suppliers, stock taking, and working to GP targets.
Other duties will include staff training, writing rotas, performing appraisals and ensuring the restaurant environment is kept clean and tidy.
The restaurant and bar manager will report directly to the food and beverage manager.
This is an immediate vacancy and the salary on offer is up to £23K but can be negotiable for the right candidate.
Live in accomodation can be offered at the cost of £240 per month.
